About TAG Heuer

Heuer built its reputation on stopwatches and dashboard timers, then on the chronographs of 1960s–70s motorsport. The 1969 Monaco — square, blue, worn by Steve McQueen — and the Carrera are icons of racing design. 'TAG' was added after the 1985 acquisition by Techniques d'Avant Garde.

  • Crisp chronograph sub-dial printing and correctly-shaped pushers
  • The applied TAG Heuer shield logo
  • Sapphire crystal and solid, precise pusher action on mechanical models

Facts

  • Heuer's 1969 Calibre 11 was among the first automatic chronograph movements.
