Split-Seconds (Rattrapante)
Times two events at once with stacked seconds hands.
What it does
Two chronograph seconds hands run together. Pressing an extra pusher freezes one so you can read a lap time while the other keeps running, then releases it to catch up instantly with the first. It is a chronograph doubled, with a second column wheel and clamp system.
How to read it
Start both hands together. Press the rattrapante pusher to hold one hand at a split time, read it, then press again — it jumps forward to rejoin the running hand.
Impact on value
Very high — one of the most complex chronograph variants, with far fewer examples made than standard chronographs.
