Complication

GMT / Dual Time

Tracks a second (or more) time zone at a glance.

What it does

An extra hand points to a 24-hour scale, showing a second time zone against a rotating or fixed bezel. A 'true GMT' lets you jump the local hour hand independently while travelling; a 'caller/office GMT' moves the 24-hour hand instead — better for tracking a distant colleague.

How to read it

The 24-hour hand plus the bezel or ring gives the second zone. On a rotating-bezel GMT you can even track a third zone by turning the bezel.

Impact on value

Positive — a genuinely useful travel complication; true-GMT movements command a premium.
