The story
In 1960, friend and supporter Grant Stockdale gave Kennedy a slim gold Omega engraved 'President of the United States John F. Kennedy from his friend Grant' — before the election had been won. JFK wore it to his inauguration in January 1961. Omega bought the watch at auction in 2005 for $350,000; it now sits in the Omega Museum in Biel.
